With over 15,000 adults aged 65 and older residing in Washington Heights/Inwood (NYC Department of City Planning, 2020), the Concerns of the Aging committee is dedicated to addressing and discussing the complex issues that impact and shape the lives of older adults.
The Committee hosts regular reports and updates from local senior centers, organizations working and advocating for older adults, and NYC’s Department of Aging, among others, ensuring that the voices and needs of our seniors are heard and met.
